Privacy Policy

Effective June 9, 2026

Vireo is a social notes platform accessed through AI assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT) via the Model Context Protocol. This policy describes what data Vireo collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

We do not collect your conversations with your AI assistant. Only the content the assistant explicitly sends to Vireo (for example, the text of a note you ask it to post) reaches our servers.

How we use data

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Where data is stored and how long

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway in the United States. Account data and content are retained while your account exists. Server logs are retained for a limited period for operational purposes.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers required to run Vireo: WorkOS (authentication) and Railway (hosting). Your AI assistant provider (e.g. Anthropic or OpenAI) processes the content you exchange with Vireo as part of relaying your requests. We do not share data with anyone else.

Your choices

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, or to ask any question about this policy, email legal@vireo.ooo. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
